What better way to start my 2020 wedding season than with a St. Patrick’s Day themed wedding with The Cassady’s! Not only is this couple the easiest to work with, but they also bring in the BEST wedding guests who party and dance all night long!
The weather was a snowy, rainy end-of-Winter, not-quite-Spring day, and portraits outside just weren’t in the cards. We got our portraits in this super trendy lofty space with exposed brick, dramatic lighting, and vogue poses. Talk about last minute perfection.
The wedding was quaint and quick at a local church, and the twin flower girls had me continually following them around to try and capture all their cuteness.
The reception at the nostalgic elks club was PACKED with friends, family, and the booze was flowing. fun fact: I bussed tables at weddings here when I was 15 years old, lol. After all the formalities, Cadillac Groove started playing, and the dance moves came out. The night ended with the bride shaking it up on stage with a tambourine, and I was lucky enough to know the family well enough to stay for the festivities and nurse a hangover the next day.
