This wedding is close to my heart because I have known Allison and her family since I was just a kid. They have always supported and encouraged my photography from the very beginning, and I am so grateful for that. It was such a pleasure to watch Allison marry her best friend, and the details of the day were classically perfect.
It was a sunny day at Ashley Farm in Yorkville, Il, where the Groom was getting ready in an eclectic barn area set up for the guys. The girls were set up in a charming farmhouse full of primitive details made for a Bride getting ready.
The ceremony was in a beautiful Catholic Church where Allison and Brian saw each other for the first time that day while Peter walked his eldest daughter down the aisle.
The group head back to the farm for a day full of portraits on the grounds of the beautiful venue. It was a mix of classic greenery and chic primitive details.
Cocktail hour was bursting with friends and family in between two impressive silos as cafe lights strung above. The Wedding party was introduced into an incredible wood-filled, two-story barn that allowed the Bride and Groom to be surrounded by all of their guests. The reception details were perfectly thought out to match both Allison and Brian’s personalities.
We ended the photos of the day by walking to the edge of the property to a stunning sunset where they were able to have a moment alone.
